Chris Sparks on MySpace MySpace Profiles Official Chris Sparks MySpace! Other MySpace Profiles I've written over 150 songs since the last CD. Since we're about to record several projects, we wanted to give you a preview of what is coming up. So we set-up profiles on MySpace for each project. Please keep in mind that most of the recordings on these profiles are the rough acoustic demos we use to plan the real sessions. So, you will hear some mistakes and pitch variances. We hope you enjoy them. A Woman Like You (Main CD) - Anybody who knows me would say that I am a big romantic. I started having crushes when I was four. I've always loved women. So, I've written a massive amount of songs about love, romance and women. But, these are not slow, depressing love songs. I like my music to be upbeat in tempo and topic. So, I've even got one with a latin dance beat because we know you girls love to dance or should I say, "Move It, Move It, Move It!" :) Rodeo Lane (Rodeo CD) - It's obvious that I am a big fan of great cowboy artists like Chris LeDoux and George Strait. But, I'm also a big fan of Rodeo and that way of life. Most of the first CD is dedicated to it. I continue to write songs about this way of life. So, we're going to combine the rodeo songs from the first CD with the new songs and make a whole CD dedicated to hard-driving rodeo music. Barstool CowboysŪ - This is my country back-up band. Check it our for some of my newest cowboy and country songs. Some of these songs will be on the new Rodeo Lane CD. Never Fade Away - (Alzheimer's Project) - I lost an aunt and uncle to Alzheimer's or Dimentia-related diseases. So, I've written a couple of songs to bring attention to these horrible diseases. All The Flags Are Flying (America Project) - This CD is dedicated to the men and women of our Armed Forces. I didn't set out to write any songs about September 11 or patriotism. So, I purposely refused to write about it for a couple years. But one day, they just popped into my head. Luckily, they are patriotic songs and very positive. Bluefield (Miner Project) - This is a project dedicated to my grandparents and other family who came from the Bluefield, WV and VA area. My grandfather was killed in a coal mine 4 months before my dad was born. My grandmother then raised all six kids to be very successful adults. It will combine my style with bluegrass & mountain instruments like mandolin, dobro and banjo. Cowboy Banned (Adult Supervision) - Every now and then, I get in a mood to write something that may not be so nice. Maybe it's about the record industry or politics. Perhaps it's a little on the dirty side. Since we can't put these on the main CD's or play them on the radio, we're going to release them on a seperate CD called 'Cowboy Banned'. The current songs on this profile are pretty tame. But, we'll have the good stuff up soon! :) BADLOVE - This is my rock and blues band. We'll have some acoustic demos on there soon.
