Never Fade Away The Sparks Family has lost two of its loved ones to Alzheimer's or Dimentia Related diseases. So, Chris wanted to do something to bring more attention to these dreaded afflictions. Grandma's Song is offered here simply to demonstrate the kinds of songs that will be on this project. It is a dedication to Chris' Grandmother. But, it was his Aunt and Uncle who were actually lost to dimentia. Even so, the song seemed related to this project since so many people have grandparents with Alzheimer's. There will be two other songs that Chris wrote specifically for this project. ABOUT THE ROUGH DEMO This song is a rough mix studio demo from Chris Sparks' first recording session in October, 1997. They only had 10 hours to record all of the vocals. They did not get a chance to record a vocal that they thought was acceptable. So, this song was cut from the first CD. We bring it to you here as a part of two upcoming charity CD's which will be issued by the Chris Sparks Foundation to support Alzheimer's & Dimentia Research.
